It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have already been conquered.

We're talking about the unit that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to an additional six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the achievement hunters, are what's still available for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

It needed until Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the pitchers that have sported the yellow jersey over the last half-century.

It's difficult for their batsmen to possess a record if never given the opportunity.

What's definite is this century was much more difficult to see coming.

"For those following me in the nets, it's been a frustrating experience because I feel like I've had no rhythm whatsoever," said Healy.

"An opportunity to play and face the challenge with her and merely enjoy the moment in that regard, kind of motivated me," stated Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 balls - her quickest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 balls as she punished short deliveries, scoring 21 fours and three sixes.

By the time she was out the team needed 66 more at run per delivery - an unconquered height now demanding an easy conclusion.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the belief to do that now," continued Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, should it happen, we are confident we can do it."

These statements will be the last Australia's opponents at this World Cup need to hear.

In recent days a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this victory following win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in ten days, by which point a last-four spot may well be secure.

It was in the semi-finals they exited the previous year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a match Healy was absent due to ruptured tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the inaugural occasion at an important competition.

Such is her determination, she later said she wanted to have participated with the discomfort.

But while she later admitted those physical issues have postponed consideration of ending her career, this championship is expected to be her concluding event as leader in ODI cricket and she is yet to win an international tournament as captain.

Victory in India would lead her to the peak of her ultimate challenge.
